Annual Town Events
Annual Bonfire & Fireworks
Takes place on the first Friday in November on QEII playing field, Lower Swell Road. This is a fantastic evening with a spectacular professional fireworks display, funfair rides, pig roast & BBQ, licensed bar and much more.
Christmas Tree Festival (St Edward’s Church)
Takes place in early December and is a must for anyone visiting the town.
Christmas Tree Lights Switch on (Stocks Green, The Square)
A real community event, organised by Stow on the Wold Town Council, with singing of carols and festive songs around the tree with Stow Primary School pupils and staff. This generally coincides with the Christmas Tree Festival in early December so watch out for more information nearer the time.
Cotswold Festival
Stow celebrates its Cotswold Festival in July. It is a celebration of Cotswold life, crafts and heritage and alternates on a biennial basis with the Stow Motor Show. For more information visit www.cotswoldfestival.com.
