Stow on the Wold Town Council is a statutory consultee on planning applications for the parish. It has no powers to approve or reject planning applications and can only comment on applications. Cotswold District Council (CDC) is the Local Planning Authority (LPA) and make the final decision.
All planning applications can be viewed on the CDC’s Planning Portal at https://publicaccess.cotswold.gov.uk/online-applications/ and simply enter a keyword, planning application number, postcode or single line of an address.
The council’s Planning, Traffic & Parking Committee meet on a three weekly basis to discuss and comment on any planning applications for the town. Members of the public are very welcome to attend and will get the opportunity to speak at the Chairman’s discretion.
